The Bestop Instatrunk has been designed to allow users to keep items balanced and organized in the rear cargo area of your vehicle. Your items stay secured with the tailgate, so there are no requirements for extra keys or additional locks. The Instatrunk bolts in behind the back seat which provides a strong and secured means of storing your cargo.
The shelf, and storage compartment have been fabricated from 16 gauge heavy-duty steel which provides 2.7 cubic feet of storage under the shelf, then you have the extra shelf space above. The shelf has also been powder-coated black to blend in well with the interior and to be scratch resistant. Once assembled and installed in the vehicle it can also be removed as one piece for easy removal.
