  • Q: Order separately?  Derek 17 days ago

I am thinking about upgrading my master cylinder to the Teraflex option, so I wanted to know if the other two parts offered in this bundle can be ordered separately?
  • Q: Manual transmission   O.H.3 months ago

Is it possible to be install on a manual transmission by just keeping the original brake fluid reservoir?

A:  The new master cylinder in this kit doesn't have a port for the clutch line. You have to run a different clutch fluid reservoir. The Wilwood 26011098 has been used by others with success(we don't carry it, however).

  • Q: J* Booster  Scott6 months ago

I read on here that there my not be a plugin for the elec on the J8 booster? I have a 2015 and wondering if that will be an issue? If so what can I do to rectify any dash lights/error codes
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It's for the check valve. You should pull the one out of your stock booster and place it in to the new booster.

  • Q: Check valve  KingKrawler6 months ago

The check valve on this booster is different than the one on my 2012 JKU. It does not have the electrical plugin on it that the stock one has. So should the electrical plugin just be left unplugged after installing the new booster or should the check valve from the old stock booster be swapped over to the new J8 booster and then the electrical plug connected?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You should swap the check valve from the original booster to the new and discard the one that comes with the kit.

  • Q: Soft Brake Pedal  Jcurrent1 year ago

I have this booster/master with crown big brake kit up front, and tereflex big roter kit in rear I ordered from you. Everything is installed, ABS was bled, and the system was bled 3 times. I still have a soft pedal and it takes up a lot prior to brakes engaging. Does the booster on the JK8 have an adjustable push rod?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The booster does not have an adjustable push rod. We haven't had any soft pedal issues after installing these master/booster kits. Only thing that comes to mind, that you didn't mention, is that the master needs to be bench bled before install.
