You should note that if your vehicle already experiences adverse handling conditions prior to installing a light-valved cylinder assist system, those driving conditions will only worsen with the transition. In fact, installing a reduced effort steering gear kit will greatly compromise the ability to drive safely at highway speeds, so that is why they are only advised for vehicles specifically built for off road conditions and rarely on pavement. In short, cylinder assist systems will not correct for inherently poor on-road steering characteristics.
