For those of you who have a winch installed in their AEV bumper, here is a hassle-free mounting option for those of you that have enforced front license plate provisions.
This license plate mounting kit accepts both roller as well as the hawse style fairlead. Installation is simple with no further modifications required to the AEV Front Bumper of the fairlead. This way, when the use of a winch is required for recovery, the license plate can quickly be removed, and put away inside the vehicle.
The AEV License Plate Mounting Kit has been designed to accommodate standard sized (12”x16”) North American license plates.

Mount was easy to install and although made out of plastic seems sturdy without adding another couple pounds of weight to the front end. The Plastic seems to be of high quality but we will see what happens when the Texas sun does its thing.
