All Falcon shocks feature the Red Line Oil full synthetic shock oil to provide superior performance, no matter what the temperature. This helps reduce the overall shock fade. This proprietary synthetic formula comes with special anti-wear, as well as lubricity agents, producing excellence in thermal stability. Overall, the shock increases the stability of the vehicle, an improved dynamic roll control, and an improved low speed damping. The shock is optimized for fitment of clearance during the full suspension travel and articulation, and the front offset stud design helps to create an additional 2.25" frame clearance, helping the shock body provide the highest performance. This is the largest shock body that will typically fit without modification. Compact and affordable, the 6061-aluminum hard anodized body wraps around all internal components, protecting from any damage. The 6061-aluminum hard anodized shock tube will resist wear over time, with its smooth honed internal shock body surface, designed for long term performance. The 3/4" shaft prevents buckling, with a maximum shaft diameter allowed for the best performance available. The hard chrome, induction hardened shaft helps resist rock damage, in addition to corrosion. The oil/gas separator, or OGS, prevents cavitation, while the digressive linear piston & base valve technology helps reduce wear. The shock comes with a one-piece Teflon bronze piston wear band with O-ring, a hard anodized billet piston, aluminum construction for the best heat dissipation, and Red Line full synthetic shock oil. The 1,000-hour salt spray corrosion resistance is available on all hardware pieces.
