ARB Old Man Emu High Performance Bypass Shock Rear 3.5-4.5in Lift
JK
Features & Product Details
The OME (Old Man Emu) BP-51 bypass shock absorbers had 4 years in the making, and throughout those years development involved continuous testing for optimum design. It aims to bring together old-school power with the contemporary velocity shock absorption of modern-day cars, so that you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Fine-tuning shock absorption with valve testing to balance comfort and control is a labor intensive task thhat is key to a smooth ride, and bypass technology is there to help. But since bypass tubes won't fit inside a coil in conventional coil-over-strut set up, the ARB OME BP-51 comes to the rescue with patent-pending technology that is revolutionary. Specifically engineered for 3.5 to 4.5 inch lifts these shock absorbers yield unrivalled on and off-road performance. Specially designed for a seamless fit with factory mounts the rear shock includes a stone guard for increased front wheel stone damage protection for the shaft.
The ARB OME BP-51 comes with mounting hardware, piggy bank clamp and fitting instructions. Though the absorbers are factory set in terms of rebound and compression the user can adjust damping performance to suit road conditions and vehicle loading. Made of aircraft-grade aluminum, and with hard anonized finish, the ARB OME BP-51 produces optimal heat dissipation as well as corrosion and stone damage resistance.
*NOTE - Due to varying lift heights we always recommend you measure the shock length you need to ensure proper fitment on your application*
