ARB On-Board High Performance 12 Volt Twin Air Compressor - CKMTA12

Product Description

ARB's new CKMTA12 and CKMTA24 twin on-board compressor kits were designed to fill the market need for a compact sized yet high-volume compressed air source to suit the high volume airflow needs of most air powered tools, and also to suit the actuation and control needs of the ARB Air Locker, and the harsh and demanding environment of the ARB Air Locker user.

* Available in 12V (CKMTA12) or 24V (CKMTA24) models.
* Constructed primarily of light weight, high strength, engineering grade materials, including military and aerospace standard components.
* Pressure switch controlled air manifold system regulates pressure between 9.3Bar [135PSI] and 10.3Bar [150PSI] suited to air tools and all ARB Air Locker equipped vehicles.
* Highest air flow rate of any 12V compressor of its size on the market at 174LPM [6.16CFM].
* High efficiency design consumes only 56 Amps at maximum air flow.

Built tough and moves some air! Review by GearHeadMetal
For a 12 volt on board air compressor this is hard to beat for overall quality and performance. It's pricey but you get what you pay for. Fit and finish is excellent and parts are well machined and engineered. The instructions took a little bit to figure out but were detailed and well diagrammed. (Posted on 4/13/2015)
Great quality! Review by Ern
Glad I went with this ARB Twin set-up rather than having to regret a less priced option. This thing is solidly built. Like prior reviews, this thing is ready for tools and lookers which are on the list. Very happy with it so far. (Posted on 4/4/2015)
Great quality, missing a few items Review by Bill
All in all this is a great compressor for on board air solutions. If you don't need something with this high of a CFM rating you might consider a more complete kit that includes everything you need from the start.

1. This compressor is made very well,
2. Runs quieter than I expected
3. Fills tires quickly

1. Missing a few very important parts to get it installed (probably better if you also buy the manifold for lockers though)
2. Installation instructions left a lot to be interpreted, not clear on what goes where

Must have!! Review by MICHAEL
Recently purchased the ARB on-board twin air compressor and couldnt be happier. No more waiting in line or driving to the nearest gas station or waiting a year for your portable air compressor to fill up your oversized tires. Fills up 35s in minutes. Will also come in handy when lockers are in the budget. Must have!! (Posted on 3/23/2015)
ARB Twin - Lockers, Tires, and Tools, Oh My! Review by Phil
When needing a way to push air to my ARB front locker, the ARB twin offered the perfect way to engage the locker with the optional ARB manifold, helps me air up 35's quick after a day on the trails, and even drives my IR231 to change tires on the trail if run in short bursts.

You can fit the twin under the hood on a 12+ with a bracket from MORE (others possibly work as well) even with a SPOD in place. On my 12', the manifold mounted to the firewall. While I've been worried about heat, my twin has been mounted there and going strong with regular use for over a year.

I'll eventually mount an external tank somewhere to allow running air tools constantly. (Posted on 3/22/2015)
