Typically, you wan't to choose the load rating that is at minimum 1.5x the gross weight of your vehicle (including modifications). For example, if you had a Jeep Wrangler JL with a few heavy modifications that weighs 6,000lbs., you should consider a 10,000lbs. winch.
WARN Zeon XD 10,000lbs: This winch load rating is ideal for mid-size 4x4s weighing up to approximately 6,500 lbs. It’s a perfect match for vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, Toyota 4Runner, Ford Bronco, and similar rigs. Unlike steel, synthetic rope won’t develop sharp burrs, it floats in water, and it stores less kinetic energy under tension, significantly reducing the risk of recoil in the event of a break. Included with your Zeon XD is an abrasion sleeve to provide additional durability and UV protection for your Spydura rope.
