A lot of people wonder what the crew at Northridge 4×4 does in their off time, well to be to the point we wheel! Our Marketing Director Malo Castro got the call from a family member stating he had gotten his Toyota FJ stuck while hiking the night before and wondered if Malo knew some people that would be able to help him get the FJ out, Malo was like pffft we got this Bruh. He made a quick call to Eric Johnson our Sales Lead and Shop Manager and he rounded up a crew of able Jeeps and bodies and the rescue was on!

Once they made the short drive up I-90 to Talapas Lake exit the boys aired down under the overpass to make the run into the FJ. Once they started down the trail they quickly realized the snow was THREE FEET DEEP and under normal circumstances this would be a problem but anyone that knows Eric Johnson knows that this just put a grin on his face and he mumbled #becauseracecar under his breath and the three miles into the Fj was covered in no time.

Once they crew got to the Fj and got it dug out the fun was on and they took turns busting the three-foot drifts and stretching the legs on the JK’s. Winter wheeling is always a good time and Malo and Eric’s families took advantage to do a little sledding while the big kids (Eric, Malo, Maxx) looked for my drifts to bust and general trouble to be found.

The crew almost had to rescue Eric as he became a little high centered and who would have guessed that as he is so tall!
