Looked at other brands and decided to purchase this one. heard good reviews. once I opened the box it was a wow factor. heavy duty a little over kill but hey, I would rather have that then break down on the trail. Had it about 7 months now got it dirty. No drifting with bigger wider tires. Great product.

Made a difference in steering feel. Only issue I have is my torque wrench only goes to 150, need 185 ft-lbs. Quality part.

I installed this on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a 2.5" lift and 35's. After the lift the steering felt numb and it needed a lot of steering correction. Had to to 2 alignments shops and the alignment was 100%. Northridge 4x4 chat steered me in this direction and I am glad they did. The steering is more responsive and feels tighter. It was easy to put on except I figured out my track bar bracket mounted to the frame was bent so it took about 3 hours from start to finish. 1 install tip, the instructions say to tighten the 4 bolts that go through the frame and into the steering box on step 5 or so, don't do that. Get everything started and snug (including track bar) before fully tightening anything. There is a bit of adjustment (up/down/left/right) so wait until the end to fully tighten everything.

I purchased this during the process of adding hydro assist steering. I installed the brace before installing the hydro system. After installation it was a very noticeable difference in handling on the highway. The wandering was drastically reduced, almost eliminated. The feeling of being pushed or blown to the side whenever larger vehicles pass is gone. It now stays in its place at higher speeds on highway lanes that it use to grab and wanted to follow the ruts. Before I always thought it was just the "it's a Jeep thing" after lifting it.

Many people consider sector shaft braces pointless, but let me tell you this made a difference on my '17 JK. It helped reduced the dead spot in the steering feel while driving down the highway and it adds great peace of mind about worrying about the sector shaft breaking while out on the trail. It fit like a glove and works with my Teraflex HD44 axle and HD track bar no problem at all on my 3.5 RT3 lift.

I added a Steer Smarts track bar and sector shaft brace on my JKU, and so far it's been great. It helped remove a bit of "dead zone" in the steering wheel feel and it added peace of mind in regard to not needing to worry about the sector shaft breaking. Is it kind of overkill but nice to have? Absolutely! Also worth noting I had it in my hands less than 48 hours from when I ordered it, great shipping speed!

This thing is beef and must have for your jeep. Had an issue with the sector nut as it didn't go in straight. Yeti customer service was great and sent me the new nut. Everything went smooth as I expected, the steering wheel was off centered a bit, but wasn't that hard to fix it. Test drove it and wow, this thing is rock solid, made the steering wheel tighter, hit a few pot holes and the steering wheel seems very sturdy. Best money spent ever..., get this for your jeep guys...

I have 37's on my 16 JKUR and the steering wasn't great. It helps a lot with the wander. It can be a bit of a pain to install when the bolts don't want to go in right, but a second person makes it much easier.
