If your trails have muddy water up to the hub, get these
    Brandon 1 year ago
If you often submerge your hubs on the trail get these. When the crud flows into your axle tubes they chew up your inner axle seals in short order. For install make sure to have a hunk of 2x4 and a dead blow to pound them in to the tube. Your axle shaft will be tough to put back in for the first time but don't go hammering on it. Once these are installed you'll be have to be diligent about checking the oil level of your front diff. If you find that the oil level is low, your inner axle seals have gone bad
Motive Gear Dana 30/44 Axle Tube Seal

    No more rubbing 37s w/ 3.5" lift
    Brandon 1 year ago
I was getting a little bit of rubbing when I went from 35s to 37s with a 3.5" lift so I finally went to flat fenders rather than lifting the rig another inch and raising the center of gravity. If you want stock width you will probably be happier with their "extra wide". Fitment was great, even better up front than in the back. If you are careful and plan you cutting your stock inner fender liners you can mount them in with these and save a few hundred dollars
Poison Spyder Front Crusher Flares Standard Width Aluminum

Five star product with a couple "cons"
    Brandon 1 year ago
First off I think "standard with" isn't quite accurate. If you are looking for stock width you should probably go with their "extra wide" option. I have these in both the front and rear and find that the rears often have to be retightened where as the front stay tight. the smaller mounting bracket on these I found to be bent too tight to feed bolts through. I took pictures and emailed PSC and they bent up new brackets for me that went in perfect. I didn't have the fitment issues the other reviewer described. I wish the rears came with rubber liners like the front (that might help with the bolts staying snug)
Poison Spyder Standard Width Rear Crusher Flares Aluminum

    Works great!

I got a hot deal on this during the 2019 Black Friday season. This works by removing the valve out of your valve stem and reduces your air down time dramatically. I've been using it reliably since and have not had to change the battery yet
Currie Enterprises Digital EZ Deflator Pro

Smoothed out an already smooth ride
    Brandon 1 year ago
I'm a stickler for maintenance and keeping bolts torqued to spec so it was disappointing to find that the frame side track bar mount bolt holes had ovaled out both front and back (front being the worse of it). For the rear there are only two track bar braces on the market. This one from Synergy and another from Spohn Performance for 1/3rd the price. I went with this one because it as two more mounting points than its competitor but considering the rear doesn't suffer the stresses of steering like the front, I wouldn't hesitate trying out Spohn's. Anyway, Install isn't difficult and I was surprised to find that my ride is now just a bit smoother after install.
Synergy Manufacturing Track Bar Brace Rear

I like having service parts available and inexpensive

If you have the quicker disconnects you should pop out the bushings in the spring. You'd be surprised how gunked up the grease channels get
    JKS Spherical Bushing

Factory filters are the way to go

You get no benefit from aftermarket high flow air filters. They just let more air borne sediment into your engine
    Mopar Air Filter

I like the tight rattle free fitment I got with these
    Brandon 1 year ago
In my mind this is one of those details that should just be included with the product but what do you do? Discontinued? This is just .045 or .060 EPDM rubber roofing membrane. Find a scrap and cut your own if you need
    Poison Spyder Slider Liner

    At least they're cheap!
    Brandon 1 year ago
I've gone thought a few sets because sludge gets into the axle tube on the muddy sections of trail and eats up the inner seals. With outer tube seals they have lasted significantly longer
Dana 30 Front Inner Axle Tube Oil Seal

    No brainer, use Dana parts
    Brandon 1 year ago
There is no after market hub for our axle that is an upgrade so this is the way to go
Dana Spicer 30/44 Wheel Hub Assembly

Great price with a down side
    Brandon 1 year ago
Its plenty strong and the price is right. But... Having to fish in the flag nuts while holding up a skid plate and bolting it in with the nut floating around in the crossmember isnt a good time. Find another option with the nuts welded into place
    Rough Country Heavy Duty Crossmember

    Very convenient to have

Self recovery in a manual trans JK is a bit easier when you aren't tethered by wires. I've used mine many times with the Warn VR8. Glad I'm done with the wired controller but it comes at an overly high price
Warn Wireless Controller Kit for Truck Winches

Factory parts are the way to go

I would rather pay a little more for quality parts from Dana then end up with noisy subpar gears
Dana 30 Front Ring and Pinion Gear Set 4.88

    My favorite tire
    Brandon 1 year ago
I'm on my second set of these after coming back from Duratracs (those were fine). Great in snow and slush out on the roads and trails. Provide plenty of grip on the rocks
    BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 37X12.50R17LT Tire

    Best value

$50 is a deal for a full set of lugs comparted to many of the other offerings out there
Teraflex 5 Lug 1/2x20 Spline Drive Lug Nuts, Black 23 pieces

You should only buy ball joints that are rebuildable in the axle
    Brandon 1 year ago
I went with these after going though three sets of the "life time warranty 'adjustable' ball joints", that everyone gets. Skip those. There are only three sets of ball joints to consider. Dynatrac, Rare Parts and American Iron deletes. Of the three I chose Dynatrac because rebuild kits are readily available and Dynatrac is a more established name in the Jeep world
Dynatrac ProSteer Rebuildable Knurled Ball Joint Kit 2 Upper / 2 Lower

Nothing special, exactly what I was looking for

Dampers are a waste of money. The OME damper that came with my AEV lift had chrome flaking off the shaft and bushings that were near the end of their lives so it was time for replacement. This one is supposedly formulated to work with the SS draglink with attenuator that I have and its in the range of what I'm willing to spend on a damper so this is where I landed. Kinda lame that you have to press in the bushings yourself but its not a big deal. I love that SS does not put stickers on their products, they let you do it. I don't like driving around a billboard so no stickers for me. BONUS: Mine came with a black bellows! No flash
Steer Smarts Yeti XD HD-N Steering Stabilizer

This is not the "No Drill" top mount
    Brandon 1 year ago
The drag link works great but is the attenuator worth it? I don't know... You would have to install this drive it around and then replace it with the version without the attenuator to feel for any differences. Its very beefy and the huge adjuster makes steering wheel alignment much easier Make sure you have a pickle fork and a 3lb sledge to separate the the old draglink for the pitman arm when you install it. I had to hit it way harder than I thought I would
Steer Smarts Yeti XD Top Mount Draglink w/Griffin Attenuator & Black Bellows

Kind of a no brainer if you are picking up the Yeti XD tie rod
    Brandon 2 years ago
Over priced but you have the piece of mind that you will have the correct fit for your Yeti HD tie rod
Steer Smarts Yeti XD™ Aluminum Steering Stabilizer / Damper Bracket, 1-3/4in

    Aluminized beef
    Brandon 2 years ago
I needed a new tie rod after my stock ends were well worn and after banging the OE steel at SMORR as often as I did it was time to move on to aluminum. This one was the right choice for me. The one ton ball ends get extremely close to the brake's dust shield. Something to consider if you are looking at tie rods that advertise two or two and a half ton. Helps to clean up the slop in your steering too
Steer Smarts Yeti XD Aluminum Tie-Rod Assembly

I strictly use OEM fluids for everything but engine oil
    Brandon 2 years ago
Works great in the JK's transfer case and is meant for use in the JK's power steering too.
    Mopar ATF+4 Auto Transmission Fluid

Now I can air all the way down!
    Brandon 2 years ago
Love these, having the ability to run my PSI in the single digits provides amazing traction in the snow and on the rocks. Look at the spces, these are about 10 lbs lighter than the Machetes! Two regrets, don't use balance beads, find a shop who will balance them for you. I wish I had gone for the silver wheels to avoid looking like everyone else
GRENADE CRAWL 17x9 5x127.00 SATIN BLACK -38 mm

    AEV Con box
    Brandon 2 years ago
One reason to go for the AEV lift is because the set you up with the Procal device. Other lifts make you buy one separately
    AEV Con Box

    AEV Geo brakets
    Brandon 2 years ago
They work fine but Rancho makes a set that are more stout
AEV Geometry Correction Front Control Arm Drop Brackets

    Teraflex Exhaust spacers
    Brandon 2 years ago
You should skip these and go straight to an aftermarket front drive shaft. If you cant afford the driveshaft at the moment these will get you by. These will force your crossover pipe downward and may vibrate into your engine/transmission skid depending on your set up
    Teraflex Exhaust Spacer Kit

    JKS Quicker disconnect
    Brandon 2 years ago
Pass on the cheaper alternatives, life is so much better when you don't have to get your rig perfectly level to reconnect after a long day on the trail.
JKS Front Sway Bar Quicker Disconnects

    Works wonderfully

I installed a Grow big brake kit only to realize that was a useless upgrade with out a larger booster/master upgrade. Install is a big pain but a competent DIYer should have no problem with. I installed this in a manual trans with a Wilwood remote res, Evo compressor mount and ARB High Output Single, it all fits
Mopar J8 Master Cylinder and Brake Booster

4-6" Lift yet still shorter than stock...
    Brandon 3 years ago
2017 JK My stock lies are splitting in multiple places up front. I reluctantly bought Rough Country based on price and was disappointed to realize after install that these are actually sorter than the stock lines (at least up front, I haven't done the rears yet). RC strikes again! The brackets aren't great but could be so much worse, they're useable
Rough Country Front and Rear Brake Line Kit - 4-6in Lift
