    Power Steering Upgrade

I installed this power steering pump to go with the PSC Big Bore steering gear box which I installed to go with the UD60's I installed. It is a straight forward replacement of the oem steering pump and now I don't have to worry that there is enough fluid going to that huge steering gear.

I installed UD60's on my 14 JK Rubi, the brake rotors and calipers on the UD60's are huge and I wanted to make sure the mc and brake booster were adequate for the massive brakes. After installing the new mc and brake booster I couldn't get the brake pedal to firm up. I bled the brakes every way possible and had the anti lock module bled as well and yet the brake pedal would continue to go all the way to the floor. I contacted Northridge 4x4 and they sent me a replacement mc and brake booster right away. The first kit that was sent didn't have a new seal with it, that goes between the mc and brake booster. I was instructed to use the oem seal which I did, and would later determine that that's what was causing the issue. The second kit that was sent did indeed have a new seal, after installing that kit, the brakes are better than when the jeep was new. Aside from the snafu with no seal being with the first kit, this setup is fantastic.

    Makes Turning 38's Easy
Power Steering Upgrade 4 years ago
After upgrading my axles to UD60 and adding 38x15.5 tires I installed the PSCBig Bore Steering Gear, Ram Assist., and inline power steering fluid cooler. It wasn't a terribly difficult install, but the gear box is a beast and very heavy, the hardest part was holding it in place while I started the first bold. Turning my large tires is actually easier than when it was stock with 33's. I would definitely recommend this setup to anyone going 37's or bigger.
