Before my stock battery went out I bought this kit. The idea is that I would only have to dig out the auxiliary once. This kit fits the JL perfectly. It is amazing how 2 full size batteries take the place of just the one stock main battery. It was fairly easy for me to install with the help of the YouTube video. I am using the Optima red top batteries.
