great addition for rear Falcon shocks
Jeep JK shock upgrade 2 years ago
i was replacing all my shocks with Falcon shocks, so why not protect the rear ones? These are the bolt on set. You could weld them if you want to, with proper prep. Otherwise you just need a sharp metal drilling bit for the small bolt hole. My pictures shows it not quite finished. The 5/8" hole is drilled out for the shock bolt (right side). And the plate is not up tight against the factory mount. The mounts are not labelled right or left, so make sure you have the correct one for each side. i am happy i put these brackets in to protect the rear shocks. Quick delivery from Northridge 4x4 in AB. Another note is for Jeep owners, older JK stock rims WILL NOT fit after the brackets are on , you will need spacers or 4.5" off set rims.

Teraflex Falcon Rear Bolt-On Skid Plate Bracket Kit

Worth the cost for these fantastic shocks
Jeep JK shock upgrade 2 years ago
My old shocks were getting old and worn out. I thought about other brands but the having the ride adjustability was the deciding factor, plus the integrated reservoir. If you are considering the Falcon series, just GO FOR IT and get the 3.3s. The 3.1s can be upgraded but then that cost makes them the same (or more) as the 3.3s. AND these shocks are jeep specific ! Once your old shocks are out, these are fairly easy to install. For the front i have stock wheel well liners and these fit right in. The rear are alittle more tricky if also installing the Teraflex shock skid plate (i did). As well for the rear shocks, now Falcon has the bolt preinstalled, rather than a double nut setup like in the instructions. Also VERY IMPORTANT, with the rear skid plates, factory wheels will not fit, so you need spacers or different offset rims. So far i love the improved ride and am still playing with the settings. Falcon packages the shocks very well. Northridge 4x4 are great for great customer service and a super quick delivery.

Excellent upgrade from non-functioning electronic sway bar
Jeep JK shock upgrade 2 years ago
My Rubicon's electronic sway bar has had disconnecting/connecting problems for a while, so it time to change it. My first thoughts were installing quick disconnect links but wondered of the problem or reconnecting those too. So for me, the Rockjock sway bar kit is perfect. Installation is not to hard esp after watching a few videos. For the bar i had both brackets mounted, small lube in the bushings and tapping in the bar was easy. One caution is for the allen head retention bolts, and that is do not tighten up side before the other because the bar gets pulled toward that side. Then the bar ends up uneven for the how the arms are positioned. So alternate side to side as you tighten. I love how the links are adjustable with one end with reversible threads. My jeep has a 4" lift, and i shortened the links about 3/4" on each end. And made them the same overall length as old links. Another tip is the gold nut and grooved end joint are the left hand threaded pieces. So far i really like this sway bar but i haven't had time to really test offroad but i know it'll do better than the stock setup.
