Help Prevent System Cavitation With PSC
Prevent flammable steering fluid from causing a possible catastrophe with this vent from PSC. The PSC Remote Anti-Splash Steering Fluid Vent with a 6lb Pressure Relief Valve has been designed to save your power steering system from the event of system cavitation. Sometimes users may experience an overflow of power steering fluid which can be highly flammable. Instead of having the fluid burst out of the reservoir cap and all over the ground and engine bay, the PSC Anti-Splash Reservoir has been designed to contain the fluid. This kit will allow the power steering system to remain slightly pressurized at 6PSI at all times to help reduce the event of system cavitation.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
- Q: installation of the anti splash reservior Chad B4 years agoI am assuming that this needs to be higher that the PSC power steering reservior. However I can not find anything online. If so, does the inlet line need to be higher than the level of fluid in the reservoir or just higher than the outlet? Basically, what are the install specifications of this?

A: That's correct, you want it higher than the reservoir. You want the inlet line higher than the fluid level. We usually mount these on the firewall on the passenger side of the Jeep. Northridge Chris @ Northridge4x4 4 years agoWas this answer helpful?

A: With the reservoir line needing to be parallel at best to the pump inlet. Doesn’t allow it to be higher. Chad B @Was this answer helpful?
