How to Access your Jeep's Build Sheet/Window Sticker

The build sheet can tell you almost everything you need to know about your Jeep. Including trim level, packages and optional features that was added on to it. Don't worry, if you no longer have the build sheet/window sticker for your JL/JT you can still access it online! I've found this link to be especially useful:https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/vin-lookup.html or https://windowstickerlookup.com/

How to Identify What Axles your JL Has

There are a varierty of axles offered in the JL and the build sheet isnt always clear on what your Jeep has, below are a few quick ways to identify your JL axles.

  • 2018-2021 Advantek M220 (D44) Rear axle has drain plug on the side
  • 2018-2021 Advantek M200 (D35) Rear axle has drain plug on the bottom
  • All Sport JLs with manual transmission or LSD option get the M220 rear axle. (Not all automatic trans Sport JLs get the M220 (D44) rear.)
  • Wide Track Axle Length: 68" | Narrow Track Axle Length: 66.5" measured from each wheel mount surface

Below is an excellent comparision photo of the Dana 35 vs 44. Note the different shaped axle spreader hole shape!

How to Identify What Axles your JT Has

Luckily, its alot easier to identify your axles on a JT due to signifcantly less axle options than the JL. The only two options are Wide Track and Narrow Track.

  • All Jeep JT's feature Dana 44's Front and Rear (M210 & M220) (Not all JT's feature wide track axles)
  • Wide Track Axle Length: 68" | Narrow Track Axle Length: 66.5" measured from each wheel mount surface
