Distinction Applied was born in our store shop where necessity met inspiration. After years of perfecting the art of painting small parts, Brian, our owner, found himself staring at a problem—literally. It was early 2020, and the auto industry had hit the brakes, leaving our shop with too much time on its hands. Enter Bill, our production manager, and his 2018 Punk’n Jeep, which was sporting some seriously faded black plastic. As Brian stood there, with a cup of tea in hand, he had an epiphany: “Why not turn this faded plastic nightmare into our next big thing?”
