For the third and final day of the 2015 JKX – Middle America, the weather didn’t cooperate at all with they day’s plans. Prepared as always, Mel and his crew went to plan B and we headed back to K2 OHV park for another great run in the rocks.

Beautiful scenery, look at those clouds...

Rhodey doing what he does best.

We aired down and got right after it hoping to get some great rock crawling in before the weather turned really ugly. The wheeling was fantastic and ended with a crazy hill climb on the “Escalator” which proved to be more than technical and a lot of fun.

Once again, we have EVO1 showing off. 😉 Everyone was able to test their skills and their JK’s as far as they wanted. Just as the run ended, the clouds unleashed a drought killing rain with hail and tornado warnings. Luckily, we managed to keep in front of the storm long enough to get to our next location which was the Hanger Hotel on the runway in Fredrickburg, Texas.

Hangar hotel huh? I wonder how many times it’s been called Hangover Hotel? 😉

What do both of these vehicles have in common? They’ve both been airborne! Once we got the group pics taken we headed for Luckenbach, Texas for a live band and great way to end the event.

Heel, toe, dosey doe come on baby let’s go boot scootin!

YEEEEE HAAAAAW!

This place had some strange rules… That nobody followed! Once again Mel and his crew gave us a top notch event in a short amount of time and it will never be forgotten. None of this would be possible without the generous sponsors involved. A huge thanks goes out to everyone who helped put together a very memorable adventure. Can’t wait for the next one!
