OR-Fab's Swing Away Spare Tire Carrier allows full access to the tailgate, while raising the spare tire 5.5 inches higher for greater ground clearance and departure angles. It is manufactured from 1.5-inch diameter, .120 wall steel tubing and features a heavy-duty hinge with a 500-lbs. pull, lockable and adjustable draw latch. The OR Fab Swing Away Spare Tire Carrier also features a location for a Hi-Lift jack and CB antenna mount, and can be used with an OEM, or any aftermarket wheel up to 37-inch in diameter. Its unique design uses a reinforced inner fender brace that keeps the carrier from rattling on the highway and allows it to be installed onto the factory tailgate hinges. It can be used with your factory, OR-Fab or other aftermarket bumper and is available in a smooth or wrinkle-black powder coat finish. Fits both 2-door and 4-door models.
