1. Can the Dometic CDF 11 run off the car cigarette lighter? 2. If so, is there an automatic shut off so the car battery is not drained? Thanks.

A: Yes, can be plugged in, and does have an auto shut off. (Dynamic Battery Protection System automatically shuts the product off to prevent a dead starter battery and improves battery performance.)
