I went with this radio because it comes with everything you need, it’s small and it can be hidden from sight and all of the controls are on the hand mic. Perfect for people that don’t want a bunch of clutter in thier vehicle.

I've had my Midland MXT275 installed for a few months now and I love it! It's small enough that I have it installed in my glovebox so that it doesn't take up any extra space in the cabin. With the control buttons on the mic, you don't need access to the unit itself which is really nice. Very powerful little unit! Plenty of length on the cables included for several mounting scenarios and everything appears to be very high quality. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a new radio setup.

I watched the YouTube video the website provided and it worked out great. The sticky pad for the handle did not stay so I did a permanent mount and it came out clean.

Very compact and will fit almost anywhere. It has a speaker in the radio unit but if you choose to mount it away from you like under the seat or glovebox the handheld mic and controls also has a speaker. Plus there's an external speaker jack if those aren't loud enough although I have no problem hearing mine. You can wire the power source to the vehicle but it comes with an auxiliary plug in which I use, it's very quick and easy to unplug everything and slide the radio out of the bracket to prevent theft. Also nice you get the upgraded antenna but they send you the standard one also, the upgraded one is very compact and sturdy and can be mounted out of the way so it doesn't get hit or tangled up, it's their best radio in my opinion for the money
