Fast Shipping as always. After all the Jeep mods over the last several years with all the extra weight, even with re-gearing my trans fluid in our Texas 100 degree heat would creep up to 230F sometimes and had seen 240 in the Colorado mountains. Some of my mods include Teraflex 4" Alpine CT4 full lift, MetalCloak full steel skids, front & rear bumpers, Warn Winch, bigger tires, rooftop rack and rooftop tent, complete Yeti Steersmarts front steering components, steel steering box, ARB onboard air, KC 12 Rock lights, Amber and white driving lights, 75 quart ARB Frifg/Freezer, 100ah Lithium battery bank, 40amp DC to DC Charger, 500 watt True Sine Inverter, full load of tools for the Jeep including 1/2" impact, big spare tire with 2 extra Rotoloc fuel tanks mounted on it, Teraflex heavy duty tailgate gate to handle the weight, full cooking and camping gear, onboard Gaia navigation on 10.5" tablet and the list of mods goes on and on. You get the idea of all the added weight straining the ZF transmission. We are retired and overland all over the USA. After I installed the Mishimoto Transmission Cooler we tested it and the trans temp never went over 199 F. The Mishimoto Transmission Cooler holds about 1/2 quart more trans fluid and fiscally looks twice as big as the OEM Cooler. I preformed a full trans fluid change at the same time of installing the Mishimoto just because i have 50,000 miles on our Jeep now. Replaced my trans fluid with Amzoil Signature Series trans fluid. I know the outside temp isn't 100 degrees this time of year but the trans temp thru rolling hills and 4x4ing over a full day never exceeded 199. So it sure appeared to cool better than the OEM small Cooler. I like it anyway and seems to cool the trans fluid alot better now. Was it worth the extra expense and time to do this upgrade, I think it was. I didn't think ti take any photos, sorry. Install was easy and as far as replacing the trans fluid and filter goes you can watch a YouTube video on how to perform that.
