Best upgrade for a Jeep 8 years ago

When I bought my JKU in July 2014 I knew before I even bought it that these headlights would be the first upgrade. Nothing but perfect reviews on multiple websites and forums convinced me that the high price for these would be worth it. These are an investment. There is absolutely no downside to owning these. The increased visibility to the front and added visibility to the sides is outstanding. The only modification I have done to these has been adding dielectric grease and zip-tying the connectors together (which was suggested by Truck Lite) in order to prevent the lights from flickering due to the minuscule looseness in the connections. No problems in over a year since I did it.

2015JKUWillys
Truck-Lite headlights for my 2015 JKU WW have been less than stellar in their performance. These headlights were purchased in December 2014, and have had flickering problems (Truck-lite replaced the anti-flicker harnesses in early 2015), since then the right headlight lumen output has diminished severely and the left high beam LED has failed. Lights are out of warranty and have less than 10k hours of use on them. LED's are typically rated for 50k hours. Didn't think I'd be looking to replace the aftermarket LED head lights after only four years use. When the Truck-lites worked they were a fine headlight, a drastic improvement over the stock Jeep Wrangler headlight. Good thing I saved the factory headlights, as I've reinstalled them until I decide on the next headlight upgrade.
