The Firestik Quick Disconnect has been designed to allow users to quickly remove the antenna from the mount.
The Firestik Quick Disconnect screws onto the factory antenna provision, and the exiting antenna threads into the other end of the Firestik.
Once installed users can conveniently remove the antenna by pushing down, and twisting on the disconnect, and reverse for installation. This is perfect for those of you who are on narrow trails who may be surrounded by tree branches, or any other element that your antenna could get caught on.
