This is a great bumper, I'm not normally a big fan of smittybilt products but this is a great bumper. It is a very simple install, it is extremely easy to open and close as well. So far I haven't had any noises coming from it, buy with confidence.

Works as it should. Great quality for the price. Had to remove third light bracket as it dug into spare tire. Hinge is not supported by bearings. Had to clearance lock mechanism to close properly.

Bumper is very solid and well built but the quality is lacking. one year into owning it the paint is flaking off. Including areas where there is little to no wear and tear. The tire arm while of solid construction is weak and the pivot point. With a 33in tire and two jerry cans hanging off of the arm....the arm needs to be lifted up and out of the locking mechanism. This is needed when opening or closing the system. The upper part of the tire carrier rattles when driving. It is as tight as you can make it. So while the materials and construction are solid the quality as in paint and sturdiness could use improvements.
