constructed from polyethylene thermoplastic that has UV inhibitors incorporated for resistance against color fading. Once you get

I like the modularity of these and that they are light however since they are plastic they are not that strong. I have scratches on my rims because these were pushed aside by rocks.

Purchased these with the Teraflex Nomad Splits. Love the rims and the design it genius. Instead of scratching your rims and damaging the lips on rough terrain, the plastic rings will take a beating and not look horrible after a day of wheeling. If they brake, just replace the ring and a fraction of the price an aluminum or steel ring would cost. And if your into colored rings, paint it.

These hold up really well. I am designing a temporary spacer to go over the screw heads to keep them aligned when tightening. This should help with balance issues.

Let's face it. We are going to jack up our rims on rocks. But if you run Teraflex's Nomad wheels, you can keep the rims safe pretty cheaply. Their rash rings are a simple bolt-on part that protects the rim of your wheels from rock rash. Now, here's the best part - they are plastic! That means you can jack 'em up and replace just the pieces that got trashed. That's pretty cool. Since they come in, like, six pieces, you can even add a different color to the wheel if you want. For me, the best part is the protection. I like knowing that I won't ruin my rims on the rocks, just my plastic rash rings that are easy and cheap to replace.
