Purchased this cover November 26, 2018 and received it today, May 03, 2019. Performance: Access to the clutch handle/winch controller is easy with the zippered section. Access to the front of the drum/spool is nice with the Velcro flap, little annoying since I have a 10in rigid mounted there but without that it would be awesome. Vented in the rear, however do not know if I would want to run the winch with the cover on anyways just to minimize the amount of heat soak. —4 Stars because I haven’t tested it under hard use— Ease of Install: obviously super easy to install, it’s a winch cover. It as elastic straps on the bottom that go around your winch, as well as draw strings. With my winch previously installed. I found the elastic on the left side (standing in front of the winch) can’t really go on properly so it looks wonky just sitting like that. But I imagine if I re ran my wires through what I believe to be a loop for them in the cover (under it) and put the elastic on after running my wires through it. It would fit nicer. (Can be seen in my pictures) —3 Stars in this section because of that— Value: Rather expensive cover for sure, sitting at about 90 before taxes. (I ran a heavy duty garbage bag held on with bungee cords after I got this Gen 2 VR10, and obviously didn’t have a cover for it) —4 stars because it is really expensive— Quality: Quality is good, all the seams are good and appear to be strong, zipper is smooth, Velcro lines up good, don’t know how it will hold up against the elements but will be watching for sure. But build quality is there. — 5 Stars — Overall: Overall, I gave it 3 Stars. It lost 1 point due to the fitment issues I have with mine (doesn’t fit as tight as the manufacture pictures look, and looks wonky, and the left bungee doesn’t actually go around the drum) It lost another point because I honestly just haven’t had it long so can’t comment on it’s durability/sun fade/ease of use.
