During a vehicle extraction exercise, the open weave synthetic winch lines are usually subject to getting dirty and there are chances of getting sand lodged in between the fibers and strands of the line. With time the abrasive elements wear down the fibers of the rope hence decreasing its performance and reducing its strength. To prevent this kind of abrasion the entire Superline XD synthetic winch line has been over braided with Dyneema fiber so as to prevent this kind of abrasion. This factor therefore increases the longevity of the winch line. The cover also has complete uv protection. The inner core of the rope is of the same pre-stretched Dyneema rope that has been used in the Superline series. It is important to note that the inner core is the determinant of the breaking strength and not the outer cover.
