Tow hooks for days
Americonium 5 months ago
These hooks are huge! And you can run a soft shackles in the bottom of that hook. This was very difficult to install, but I would bet that if you had a FRIEND, we'll, then it would be simple. So order this bumper, invite a friend, and install it to your heart's delight.

An inch. An inch out of wack for 2 years does something to your psyche. And your tires. I'm sure I prematurely ground those puppies down that whole time. But this adjustable track bar straightened everything out for the better. Easy install, but remember, torque it down on the ground.

Wow, what a difference!
Americonium 5 months ago
Installed and didn't know if my steering really improved, or if it was all in my head. Wife drove it and immediately complained that her one year old JL has looser steering than my almost 7 year old JLU. This is what she wants for her next modification.
Synergy Front Track Bar and Sector Shaft Brace (Bronze Greaseable Bearing)
Need to add a winch?
Americonium 5 months ago
And look great? Look no further than Rival's aluminum stubby bumper. Weighing less than a full width steel bumper, this includes a winch plate for your favorite puller outer. Scared of the dark? Again, great choice, as the winch protection hoop includes a great spot for a light bar, or a couple of off road lights. It helps to have a friend for a smooth installation.

Northridge saved my skin
Americonium 6 months ago
I had realized that I need to replace the passenger side, so I called up Northridge to order a pair. In 2012, Dana decided to change the shaft joint in the Sport front axle. I almost ordered the incorrect joint, but Northridge set me right. When the passenger side came out, about a gazillion needle bearings fell out. This one is still going strong, a lot longer than the original lasted.

Quick disconnects are quick if...
Americonium 6 months ago
Installed and found that the best way to reconnect them was to put some red grease on the disconnecting end to keep them slippery and easy to manage. Not too much though, or it'll get messy in there.
Teraflex Front Quick Disconnect w/ Swivel Stud Kit, Pair - 0-6in
Installed with Tereflex 3.5 in lift

And am very pleased with the result. Didn't want quick disco since I have a Rubicon, and these were perfect for the right price.

The stock lower control arms had multiple dents from off roading. These, at worst, get scrapes on them. Very pleased with my purchase.

Just a little off the top...

I have the pleasure of owning LOD Destroyer rock sliders, and this meant I had to trim a little off of the bracket to make it fit. No big deal. A little black Rust-Oleum and it's good as new.

Something nice for a two door?
Americonium 6 months ago
I couldn't believe my luck, when I happened to find this I was overjoyed. I had already installed the 4 door version on my Jeep, but my wife wanted the same. I wasn't sure LOD had made them. Now she can confidently climb into her Willy's with no issues.

Whups!
Americonium 6 months ago
Off-roading, and low and behold, I smashed my stock steering stabilizer. Aw nuts. At least I found an equal, if not better steering stabilizer in this Tereflex product. I tried to flip it, but I'm too dumb to figure that out. Eventually, I'll get around to it. Or just order another Tereflex steering stabilizer.

... That doesn't actually come with a filter. It isn't implied that it does. My filter housing cracked, and the filter escaped. This was an easy fix.

Great fogs

I installed these in my brand new Arcus front bumper. They look great and work as intended.

You'll need to purchase a light to make this legal. Metal is prime to rust, so hot it with some paint after you've made your final adjustments. Also, the two lugnut replacements will require a different size tool for removal.

Oh no, COVID hit so I bought a camper trailer and I can't put the tongue on the hitch because the spare tire hits it! Was able to adjust the height of the spare. Yay! It's 3 years old and no rust, so got durability as well.

My OEM track bar are rusted so much, it couldn't be adjusted. THE JKS bar was very easy to install, and is still in service, 7 years later.

This was the first Adam's driveshaft I ever purchased. Such a game changer. The rzeppa joint on the factory driveshaft kindly bowed out, and Adam's was there to set things straight.

Simple installation

This was a no brainier for the JK. Easy to install, simple to attach the compressor, and it keeps most of the mud off of it due to its location. Very happy with install.

Tis a sad day indeed...
Americonium 7 months ago
Purchased in 2013, my ARB compressor filled it's last tire. Eleven years of faithful service, it gave up, and seized the piston. If literally cost me $20 a year to fill my tires. Now the price has gone up by about $70 over the last decade, but I can assure you, it did it's job. Good luck.

Easy install, great driveshaft

Adam's driveshafts have adorned my jeeps every time I install a lift. Always my go to, they haven't let me down yet.

Installed with the Teraflex 3.5 lift, these shocks are very good at doing their job. I opted for the soft setting, and I'm certainly glad I did. New York streets are like driving on a freshly poured slab. Ok, they're not magic, but they certainly do a better job than the stock Rubicon shocks after 50k miles. I feel that I really won with this purchase.

Bump stops simple installation

Of all the suspension parts I've installed over the years, these were the easiest by far. Hand twist out the old, hand twist in the new. No complaints.

Smoove.......
Americonium 7 months ago
Installed these with the 3.5 Teraflex ST Sport lift. I have not driven off road yet, however, the on road driving has improved over the Rubicon suspension. I'm running soft, and they're great so far.

Lifesaver? No. But it works like a hose.

Is it better than the electronic? No. However, rather than spend the $1000 on electronics that may ultimately fail again, this little devil allows you to bypass the computer. You'll want a way to disable the trouble light. I used my Jscan. AEV and Taser will also take care of it. Oh, one more thing. Read the directions. Like really read them. I drove around for a couple of days disconnected due to the spring length. If you have a bumper skid plate, you'll have to crawl up under the Jeep to connect/disconnect.

Rival aluminum steering skid

It's thick. It takes a hit. Took it up to windsock where it took many hours over the weekend. I don't like the color, but then I don't have to look at it when I'm driving.

LoD Destroyer Rock Sliders
Americonium 6 years ago
High quality, excellent welds, professionally powder coated, solid installation to the frame. Installation was a breeze, with only one exception. The front passenger side bolt requires drilling through the frame, and most drills won't clear the body seam below the door. That being said, it wasn't impossible. I only have one complaint, and since I don't know who's to blame, I'll blame myself. Shipping states 14 to 21 days. This is a suggestion. In total, these took six weeks to arrive. Not because of a slow shipping process, but because LoD currently makes them to order. In conclusion, I am very happy, as they are a solid addition to my Jeep, but in hindsight, I would have ordered them sooner.
