An upgrade on the previous one, but.....

Probably 15 years ago I installed Synergy's #8000 drag link on my '09 JKUR. A good improvement over stock, if a bit fiddly to adjust and keep the bend in the drag link oriented properly. Weak point was the use of the stock rod end at the pitman arm end. It would go through them fairly regularly. I was ready to replace it again when I saw that they had an upgrade avaialble in the #8000-01, with their 1 ton rod ends on each end, and they moved the adjuster to the pitman arm end. Install of the 8000-01 was a bear, mostly because the old rod end at the pitman took some muscle to break loose. The new one went on easily, but I've been disappointed in how difficult the double adjuster is to move. Seems way too stiff, particularly compared to the first one. Would advise you use some anti-seize on the threads of both the rod end threads and the adjuster sleeve. Also, the tube itself seems a bit short, a lot of thread is exposed on both ends com pared to their original #8000.
