What a huge improvement over the stock steering gear with big tires!

I couldn't believe how much of a difference this made over the stock steering gear. I can turn big tires with one finger on the steering wheel now, it moves so smoothly. I didn't even upgrade the pump, though I did replace hoses and flushed out the ATF for SWEPCO fluid instead while I was doing this. You REALLY need a friend to help you do this, it's REALLY heavy and awkward to install. I taught my daughter's boyfriend a few new curse words getting this in. Maybe get a shop to do it :D

• Will this work with Synergy Sector Shaft Brace?

  Will the PSC pump work with the Synergy Jeep JK Sector Shaft Brace? I see the shaft diameter is larger than stock. Thanks

  A: Synergy has a new Sector Shaft brace out that has an optional bearing for this steering gear. Not compatible with the original Synergy sector shaft brace design.
