I added a 2.5in lift to my 2012 JKU and didn't change shocks. Terrible mistake on my part. It drove terribly and wanted to sling shot off the road going over hills. After purchasing these shocks it was such a major improvement. I have no issues driving over hills and the Jeep handles wonderfully!
