I purchased my winch in January 2015, got it installed in May 2015, used it 3 times. First time was to stretch the rope, second time was to pull a half ton truck out of the mud, third time was to pull a 900 lbs bull moose out of the woods and winch then the winch failed. Had to take the winch of the plate and send to a Drive products service center. Motor had failed which is part of the electrical system was only covered for one year under Warn Warranty. Warn did a very nice thing by giving me and extension on the motor. For this I have to give them a thumbs up
