Terrible Instructions

Recently bought a 2016 2 door Hard Rock with a hard top.. sold my 2007 2 door sport with the old Trektop NX I installed 7 years ago.. I'm just not a hard top guy so I pulled it off and bought this Trektop NX Plus.. Do yourself a favor and watch some YouTube videos before the install. Anyway, this Trektop NX Plus is a definite upgrade from my 7 year old Trektop NX. This one is about $250 more though. Me and my father in law installed it together and it took almost 6 hours. Mostly because of 2 troublesome areas. We also took our time, no hurries! Fit and finish are excellent. This one make no noise at all and fits like a tight glove. Bestop added 2 zippered pockets to the inside roof and these are great. This one seems to fit a little higher up in the rear and adds a little better visibility. Ease of install gets 1 star because of the poor instructions and because Bestop gave no extra hardware. The screws for the rear bow are very poor quality so take this advice: tap the bow holes with the screws first, then screw them in. If not, there's a good chance you will strip them out. We were super careful and almost ruined a few of them. I've been running mine windowless with a rear tonneau cover and it looks great and keep rain out of the cab. Good luck with your install.
