Works Like A Charm

Great for basic controls and they recently released new firmware allowing compatibility with the 4XE. We moved from the Tazer to this and the ease of use is night. The Tazer is an absolute pain in the rear to use whereas the flashcal is super simple and straightforward.

I love this exhaust! Looks and sounds awesome. Install took about an hour and a half, but wasn’t too bad. The coupling where if connects to the factory exhaust was challenging, but not overly so… the toughest part I encountered was getting the rubber hangers back on.

Our family has installed two sets of 35’s and two sets of 37’s, both gen one and gen 2 Pats and we love them. Of the 4 sets (10 tires total) only 2 of them had issues with excessive balancing weights. Like others have mentioned, those were put on the spare carrier after the spin trick. Traction has been great, noise has been low, and tread life has been good. Not saying this is the only tire I will buy moving forward, but it is going to take something pretty compelling to make me move to another brand/model.

Just like the FlatLink itself this is a quality part at a high price point. Good peace of mind to keep the synthetic rope from getting banged up, but really should have been included as part of the package for the FlatLink in the first place.

I feel this is overpriced for what you get. It is very high quality, but should shouldn’t cost over $150. It does what it is intended to do and looks good doing it. Since I have a synthetic rope, I paired this with the rope guard that is sold separately though it should have been included at this price.

Swapped this out while we were upgrading the shocks on our ‘21 Rubi 4XE. Steering is a bit more firm than stock, but that is not a bad thing. Took less than 30 minutes to remove the factory stabilizer and install the new one. Bilstein includes new hardware to replace the carriage bolt on the body side mount with no cutting or drilling required. Pro tip, turn the wheels full lock towards the passenger side to make install a little easier.

Great compliment to the spacer lift on our ‘21 Rubi 4XE. Install was a breeze and only took about 20 minutes per side. For the front, the hardest part was getting around the fender liner on the top mount.

Great compliment to the spacer lift on our ‘21 Rubi 4XE. Install was a breeze and only took about 20 minutes per side. For the rear, a 3/4 swivel will make your life easier. I didn’t have one so the top mount was tough to reach. Had I had one, it would have only been 15 minutes a side.

I have the Flashcal F5 for my 2019 JLUR and my wife has the Tazer Mini for her 2021 4XE JLUR. The F5 has been great but the Tazer has a pain to use with the steering wheel controls and required sleep cycles. Enter the Flashcal+. It is much cheaper since it connects to your phone instead of a dedicated screen. The usability is just as good as the Flacal F5, with the exception of not being able to unmarry the Flashcal+ (gotta pay the man for that). I unmarried the F5 from my ‘19 since they recently expanded functionality to the 4XE, and used on my wife’s ‘21 and picked this up for mine. Couldn’t be happier. See ya later Tazer!
