Very nice upgrade that add an old school look to the ease of function.

Using the oem transfer case shifter was not exactly ideal for a few reasons. First the shifter was located so low, it felt like I was reaching for the floorboard. Second the mechanical action was sometime less than smooth, especially in the cold. After ordering this extended shifter from Northridge 4x4, I couldn’t be happier. It aids in the actual shifting by giving you more leverage making the gear change easy and smooth. Brings the control up to the same level as an automatic trans shifter and really does a good job of not interfering with any other access to controls. Not only is it a quality machined billet piece, which installed super easy, but the look of it with the ball knob adds to the look and feel of an old CJ setup. On my 2010, I also added a transmission shifter adapter with black ball knob to match the B&M unit. It does away with the T handle shifter and button, allowing you to push down and shift while adding a threaded mount for knob options. All in all I’m very happy with the transfer case shifter upgrade. I would totally recommend this to anyone thinking about buying one.
