Works good, bad design and instructions for steel bumper

These lights are super bright and great add to any JL with the factory bumper. However, if you have the steel bumper, beware that Oracle still hasn't fixed an issue that has been reported by many people. The driver side area (Left) is just a bit smaller then the right hand side so there is no way to insert the new light fixture without cutting away at the aluminum housing. When I contacted Oracle support, they actually emailed a link to a 3rd party YouTube video showing this same issue. So be prepared to Dremel it to make it work. Also the instructions that come in the box are crap, they miss a few steps but their online video at least covers most of what you need to do. That being said, it is pretty easy install otherwise. If the light would have been designed to the correct size, it would have taken longer to remove the bumper then to install these things. If you have a plastic bumper, you shouldn't have an issue. They still give you crappy splice connectors, I would personally use some Posi-Taps instead, but since the install took so long with having to modify the house, I used the cheap connectors they provided in place for now.
