Control the sway

If you are struggling with either your JL or JT handling ... consider adding a sway bar. Installed on a 21' JL with noticeable improvement in body roll.

Lock that hood

I watched a review on this item and thought is was a simply and effective way to lock my Jeep hood. Install was super simple and the fact that it keys to your OEM key is a added bonus.

Control the sway

Our JL Wrangler has always felt a bit light in the steering. Adding the Helwig rear sway bar greatly helped giving the JL a more planted feel on the road. Everyone focuses on the front ... don't forget about the rear.

Beefy Shaft

I added the Adams front drive shaft as an upgrade after installing a 2.5 EVO lift on my Gladiator. The shaft arrived well packaged and bolted right up without any issues. Drives great with no detectable vibration.

Getting the shaft

Needed a new front drive shaft to address the angle after installing lift. This Adams shaft was available. Installation of the transfer case yoke was straight forward and bolted directly to the front diff flange. Runs smooth.

Did the job

This spacer did the job, but I still needed rear upper arms to dial in proper pinyon angle.
RockJock Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Drop Kit
Stop it
obrianmcc 2 years ago
I opted for this set of bump stops as I also run a Sumo Spring for towing, so I wanted a larger bump stop platform. The holes on the stops did not perfectly align with the stock holes of my axle, so some drilling was required. Otherwise once installed they are super solid.

Not really a whole lot to report on these springs other than these are exactly as advertised. Initial lift is closer to 3"

You'll need adjustable arms to dial in your castor and/or pinyon. These Evo arms are super beefy and well made with the Johnny Joints.

Shocking 2.0
obrianmcc 2 years ago
Coming from the Fox 2.0 shocks, I was hesitant to move over to the Bilstein's. They are valved slightly stiffer than the Fox's, which makes their ride slightly harsher over the high speed hits, but they do handle the larger slow speed hits better than the Fox.

Spring in the air

These were a prefect rear coil choice as I wanted to maintain some towing capacity. The progressive rate springs do ride slightly firmer, but are also surprisingly compliant.

Quicker to disconnect
obrianmcc 2 years ago
I've been running these JKS disconnects in my stock JT for approx 2 yrs, so it was a no brainer to installed the extended version after my lift. They are well built and are easy to disconnect.... and the included bracket provides a convenient spot to secure the sway bar.
