I ordered this tire carrier in August. In installed on 10/5 2 days before I drove from Central Illinois to Moab. 1/2 way across Kansas (14 mpg🤦♂️)and its still on. If it falls off it will be my fault I have a 35” BFG KO2 on a Dirty Life DT-2 wheel, bout 110 lbs. It was relatively easy instal see link for great instructions and pics. Down size was camera removal was not easy. Had to use a dremel because screws holding camera were stripped out from factory. I used my ceiling winch for hard top to lift tire also. I ordered 35” BFG KO2s for my 2019 JLRU. I reseaeched several makes and models of wheels. This wheel had exactly what I was looking for. This wheelcones with a plastic ring which will help prevent damge to rims. It provides a bead lock look as well. Sold separately you add the true beadlock ring to these wheels. I will eventually purchase those down the road. They will be tested in Moab in October

These valves aloow for faster pre-trail air downs and post-trail air ups. They look great on my black Dirty Life DT-2 wheels. Cap has a lanyard of sorts so you don’t lose it. Very easy to use. Install was not difficult, if you have access to tire mounting equipment. I have tested the air down times to prepare for October Moab trip. I would recommend these fornany one who goes off road.

I have had nothing but good experience with BFG tires. 2019 JLRU came with 33”KO2. O got 47,000-ish mikes of both on and off road. The 33” got to and from several Jeep Jamborees. I upgraded to 35” have only 3000 miles on them but I am confident these tires will get to, through and back from Moab in October. I ordered 5 in Feb and a few weeks later I received four. I called to ensure I had a 5 th tire on the way. Northridge customer service apologized though it was not there fault. I was happy to have four and three. Customer service kept me informed every week or so letting me know the status of order. Couldnt ask for better CS.

I have been shopping for wheel for about a year. I narrowed my choice down to this as the KMC I want is too pricey. How does the finish on the wheels hold up on the trail? I would like to put 35" BFG KO2 on my JLRU. Will they fit this wheel even when I air down for the trail? My Jeep has a 2" Mopar lift with steel fenders. Not sure about off set and back space. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Stock tires ar KO2 33"-ish, starting to wear down.
