Super stout driveshaft! Relatively simple install, challenges on vehicle side
havingfunoutside 6 months ago
I installed my Adams 1350 a couple months ago and have put it through the wringer hard with several trips to my local offroad park and a week in Moab of pretty hard wheeling. It's held up to the test of abuse so far. As other reviews mentioned, the CV is not made to be greasable, but you can use a needle fitting to slide some grease up into the ball. I contacted Adams directly for instructions on how to do this. Between the U-joints in the CV there's a sleeve hiding a center piece (probably has a more proper name). Insert a needle fitting in there to apply grease inside. The JK arrangement doesn't allow you to torque bolts, especially at the T-case end. When securing, use some moderate-hold thread locker and one extra ugga-dugga to secure the bolts. This is to be expected, due to placement and sizing of the beefy CV joint and such, which is the only reason I docked a star off install.

Not the greatest fit but quite tough

Installation not as smooth as it should be. There's a hook that's supposed to grab into the shock mount, but failed to stay in place for me. Other than occasionally falling down and catching something, they do protect my lower mounts effectively. To be fair, I was less experienced in my ability to install stuff at the time, so it could be me doing something wrong.
