    Complete Kit
    Ain't Right 2 years ago
Ordered this with my twin ARB compressor. Kit is complete for everything you need to install and use with the Grimm bracket. Hose is long enough to reach all 5 tires. Rolls back up nice and tight to fit in my recovery bag. Good value!

Love the Look, Install Instructions Stink
    Ain't Right 2 years ago
I have been looking for steel tube fender flares for quite a bit now. I had tube flares on my JK and wanted the same look for my JL, but was leery about some of the other brands due to fitment issues and rust issues. Bestop was one of my top choices, due to their excellent customer service, but I couldn't find any good reviews on these. I decided to take a chance and am glad that I did! These look great! The instructions really stink, low quality pictures made it a bit more challenging, but nothing major. Lights worked nicely without issue, they are very bright! Quality of the product is nice, no major weld concerns like I've seen in others and they took the time to use black silicone to seal some areas to protect from water. I wasn't able to get one of the smaller front bolts in, if you can remove your grill and headlights it would make getting that bolt in much easier, but my winch blocks me from taking off the grill (easily). It has so many other strong mount points that this isn't a concern for me. I would suggest buying 4 M8x25mm bolts to replace the 20mm to make getting them mounted a bit easier, they fit, but those 4 bolts were my biggest frustration with the install. I sprayed mine with Raptor liner to match other components that I already had on my Jeep. They look nice! My rears will be arriving this week for a finished look all the way around!

Bestop Granite Series Front Fender Flares - Matte Black

Works with 3.6 eTorque but Tight

This is one of my favorite mods! When I first got it in, I got very frustrated, took my fender off, and couldn't for the life of me get it to mount. The etorque has some extra aluminum tubing in the area in front of the master cyliner that isn't shown in any of the install videos or paperwork. When I first called in to Northridge, I was told that it wouldn't work with the etorque, so I was really frustrated and sent an email suggesting that they add a disclaimer that it won't fit the etorque. Tim, their technical marketing manager called me nearly immediately to let me know that I was misinformed that it would in fact fit, he said he would send me some pics of a job they did. When I told him I would have to order some additional fender clips to try again, because I had already put everything back, he sent me enough clips to do it again for free! Upon the second try, I was able to get it to fit! It was tight, and I told Tim a few F bombs were dropped, but it fit!! I LOVE this upgrade, having on-board air has come in handy for an off-road trip where no air station was available, airing up the wife's tires, and even pool toys!

    Great Compressor

I wanted to add on-board air, before taking a trip out in the desert of Terlingua, Texas. We aired down to do the Jeep Badge of Honor Black Gap trail and were able to pull over on the side of the road and quickly air back up, when no air station was available. We've also found this handy for airing up pool floats/inner tubes. Very happy I went with this, one of my favorite upgrades! (Wife wants one now for her Rogue.)
