Looks good, but reception loss
Johnny B 2 months ago
I like the antenna, seems solidly built (much better than the low-quality floppy rubber ones) and looks good. The biggest distractor, for me, was the noticeable reception loss, radio stations fading very quickly and ones that I could pick up with the OEM antenna weren't even audible. I wanted to like it, I expected some signal loss, but not as much as I experienced. If you stay in urban environments, then it will work great, but not so much for rural areas. Sorry but I cannot recommend for rural areas.

Perfect for lifted Jeeps

If you need a sturdy base to add some height to your OEM scissors jack or Hi-Lift, this is a perfect solution. Although pricey, it's a precise fit and provides a sturdy base. Conveniently fits in a Jeep JL cargo cubby compartment. Only negative is it's pricey.

After a ton of research, and the addition of a second Jeep to the family, I went with this portable ARB compressor vs the onboard version I originally was going with. I have absolutely no regrets. This ARB portable air compressor is awesome and quick for a single motor model. It is actually smaller than I thought it was going to be. The case is solid and leaves little doubt it will protect the unit from damage and the elements. The compressor itself is the quality you'd expect from ARB. Noise level isn't bad. All the included components have a quality feel and connections are rock solid. Can you buy cheaper, yes, but will you get the quality, doubtful. I will take a proven product, like the ARB air compressor, that won't let you down when you need it most. A great addition to my recovery equipment.

Awesome Winch

If you cannot afford a Zeon or don't really have a need to invest in one, then the Warn VRO10-S is probably a good option for you. Historically when you think of winch brands, Warn will probably be high up or at the top of such list. With competitive offerings from a myriad of other brands, I stuck with Warn for their known quality and longevity. This is priced on the high end of equivalent brand offerings, but sales allowed me to get it for equal pricing (bonus: then Warn had a rebate to boot). First thing I noticed was the quality build of this winch, it is rock solid. It has everything you need for your adventures, able to get wet, reliability and ease of use. Install was a snap and the wiring was perfect length for my application (a Jeep JK). Make sure you respool the rope under load and bam you are ready for whatever the trail throws at you. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Added Protection

Is this absolutely a must buy purchase? Probably not, but with today's crime going up, having a little added security isn't a bad thing. For absolutely no additional effort or time added to your winch install, the Factor 55 Winch lock is well worth the investment to add an additional deterrent from any unscrupulous character trying to cause you to have a bad day. Is it completely theft-proof, no, but as is the case in most undesirable acts, the added effort may cause them to move on to an easier target.

Let's be real it's made by Warn for a Warn Winch, I wouldn't expect anything less than a perfect fit, and it is a perfect fit. Material feels quality and the stitching is good. First impressions is that it should last for a long time. Looks great and will definitely protect the winch and rope from the Texas Sun.

Perfect, as expected

Designed for the Teraflex Alpha Carrier and fits like a glove. Matches texture and color (wouldn't expect anything less). It does have two holes for dual antennas. Had no issues with grounding when tuning the antenna. The holes are not spread out enough to fit both a CB antenna and GMRS NMO Antenna on it, for anyone that are looking for that option. Easily mounts in minutes. Highly recommend for those with the need.

Solid Piece

Exactly as described, a solid aluminum billet, should last for years, and no chance of rusting. Made in the USA a plus. Northridge4x4 knocked it out of the park as the cheapest price and provided fast shipping that was quicker than projected. Overall, great product.
