Big Steering Upgrade for a great price!
    Drewcnit 11 months ago
I was struggling with turning my 37s when aired down, even more so when they were locked, so had been looking at steering solutions. At roughly half the price of a red neck ram and about 10% of the price of PSC, this kit intrigued me.. Install was not that bad, but I would set aside a full day for it if you are DIY in the garage. You can install this in your garage with just jack stands and solo, the only part you HAVE to have a helper on is the pressure setting at the end. Overall from the first test drive impressions, totally worth the money. Do yourself a favor and try this out first if you are running larger tires, but don't want to shell out the cash for a ram or PSC kit.
Apex Performance Steering Boost Kit w/ Cooler

Really good high line fenders for the price point.

I bought these as I was moving up to 37s and wanted to make sure I had space for them on my Sport S Gladiator. First the good - Overall quality is quite good for the price point. The rear inner fenders supplied fit REALLY well and look great and so do the rear fenders. The okay - The front fenders leave a decent gap and positioning issues with the led DRL/ turn signal setup. I found some weather stripping to close the gap because it bugged me. Also, on my end since I was mix and matching parts, but I had to trim the Oracle Sidetrack some to work with these fenders. The ugly - This kit has you reuse the front inner fender liners (after trimming), functional barely, and unless you spend way too much time cleaning up your cuts looks pretty crappy. I almost immediately bought a new set of front inner fenders, so may as well add another 2-300 to the price as you will want to as well. Overall though, I'd buy them again. With a little work they look great and are a cheap entry into the high line fenders to support bigger tires and more flex.
Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Front and Rear Fender Flares

Super bright and functional lights, love these!

These Sidetrack lights are just great, I love that I have an extra turn marker for when I'm merging lanes and the valet light is super bright. Followed the Northridge video's suggestion and ran the jumper wire across to the driver's side so I only had to run the wiring through the firewall one time. The rest of the wire is super simple, although I would say it's super handy to have a set of trim tools to help pry some room behind the fender vent to run the wires. Fair warning, some aftermarket fender flares that are hi line may have clearance issues or conflicts with this item, I did a bit of trimming as these were on the same line for about 1/2" as my Rugged Ridge Max Terrain fenders.
    Oracle Sidetrack LED Lighting System

Great product for a little more peace of mind.

I bought these for exactly what I put in the title, some extra peace of mind, knowing that my hood was locked. These feel sturdy and install was a breeze and took about 20 min. Love that my hood locks now.
Rugged Ridge Locking Hood Catch Kit

Great Fairlead but not quite Universal.
    Drewcnit 1 year ago
Great, strong fairlead mount for a winch, however it's not quite universal with some of the newer winch housings. Specifically, the gussets on the side interfere with the winch motor housing on some Warn and Smittybilt winches. I tried with a Smittybilt Gen 3 9.5K w/ Synthetic rope, unfortunately the gussets caused the winch to shift backwards and did not allow access to the mounting holes. You can see more about the issues with a Warn here - https://youtu.be/ULjgENk4ulQ Still a 5 star product, but do some due diligence on the winch and make sure it fits the fairlead.
Motobilt Winch Fairlead Bolt On Mount - Bare

    Beefy Protection and Easy Install
    Drewcnit 1 year ago
3 Bolts Off, 3 Bolts On. Took no time at all. This thing is beefy too, the factory 'skid' plate was nothing more than a glorified cover, this is a skid plate that will take a hit and not leave you stranded.
Rock Hard 4x4 Front Axle Disconnect FAD Skid Plate - Black

Quick & Easy and the Pinion angle looks so much happier

Was able to throw this on in just a few minutes after work the day it arrived, 2 bolts on and off, just support the drive shaft with a jack before loosening them.
RockJock Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Drop Kit

    Great Step Slider
    Drewcnit 2 years ago
Bought these as I wanted some protection for the rocker area but still wanted something that could function as a step. These look great installed and are very heavy and sturdy feeling, haven't had a chance to test them against any rocks yet but I assume they will be fine after seeing and feeling the quality of the build in person. Install was more of a pain than it should have been (still easy), but not entirely the fault of DV8, some of the blame should belong to Jeep. Had a helper lift and place into the slots in the pinch seam otherwise, one man install, could probably use a couple jacks in the place of the helper.
