A little stiffer on road, I feel it makes my TJ Sport S ride better. Have not tried it offroad but I am happy with the shock.

Good fit reused the factory gasket. I have both front and rear covers. On the front cover it helps if you jack the left side of the Jeep for clearance. Very pleased fast shipping.
