Teraflex 9550 twin tube shocks

I chose these shocks for my 06 Rubicon unlimited because I only run a 2.5” lift and the price was right. On road they feel a bit soft and floaty and I really wasn’t that happy with them. But the Jeep does ride nice. It’s not a daily driver so I didn’t mind the softer ride and almost sloppy feeling. This weekend I’d did some wheeling and they totally impressed me. It was a pleasure driving on the rocky trail roads and softened the holes and large rocks like no other shocks I’ve had in this Jeep. My back was very happy after 6hrs of wheeling. They kept my wheels planted on the big slippery rocks of NY. I will keep them and see how they hold up.
