Great quality but only fits RK mounting bracket
Gangplank7 5 months ago
I purchased the RK 8" 2.25 IFP Steering Stabilizer thinking it would in the Metal Cloak relocation mount I have been running with an AEV stabilizer. Turns out the mounting eyelets on the RK stabilizer are much wider than the stock OEM and other aftermarket stabilizers. So this unit only fits using the RK hyde-a-lizer mount. The RK bracket mounts to the stick stabilizer mount location but their tie rod mounting bracket is for a 1 3/4" tie rod, not the 1 5/8" stock one. RK sells the bracket separately but you have to call them and then order a separate mounting block that fits the stock tie rod.

Good if you like the stock location
Gangplank7 5 months ago
So far I have tried the AEV/Billstein steering stabilizer which was good and solid at dampening but caused a bit of a push to the drivers side once installed because it is not a "neutral" stabilizer meaning it is pressurized like a shock absorber so it is constantly pushing from center toward the driver's side. After that I tried the Fox TS, which is good but not a firm as the AEV. So next up I am trying the RK 8" IFP which is also a neutral but of course it doesn't mount in the stock location so I have to figure out using an RK mount (hide-a-lizer) bracket and someone else billet mount for the stock 1 5/8" tide rod. Fun times with Jeeps

Warn Elite - Well Made
Gangplank7 11 months ago
Really happy with the Warn Elite Bumper. The instructions are pretty well done except for one part which was the side bolts through the mounting bracket. We couldn't tell whether they should be bolted back on or not. There is a hole there but the instructions were not clear. On one side the nut-insert into the Wrangler frame broke free so we couldn't use it anyway. That added time to the install but it was my own fault not Warn. All and all I really like the bumper. The license plate bracket is a nice piece as well. I have to call Warn because only 3 of the 4 holes for the license plate were drilled but it mounted very easy and the stock license plate light clicks right in.

The install was pretty straight forward. I had to pick up a 24” breaker bar and torque wrench but once I got that sorted it’s was fairly straight forward. Great instructions from Teraflex.
