A Lot Easier

Works great. App is easy to use and simple. Much preferred over the wired hand held remote. I keep the wired as back up, but never had an issue with this wireless receiver.

Great Performance

I installed this on my Rubicon 4XE with 1/2" spacer and stock springs. Huge improvement. They are stiffer due to being digressively valved, but they have a lot of sustainability. In fact level 1 is fairly soft ( maybe not "plush" though ) and great for off road. Level 3 does seem a little too stiff but I found it useful on very windy switchback roads. Not sure I would use it elsewhere. Level 2 has 8 micro adjustments to really fine tune your preference. I like 2.1 though for casual driving. it helps reduce some body roll and nose dive on breaking. Note that these shocks actually have 20 different settings ( 10 settings on soft/cold and 10 settings on performance ). All of the above are on the soft/cold setting. I feel like anything on the performance setting would certainly be too stiff. The original model of these shocks were considered by most people to be too stiff. Teraflex re-engineered these to include the softer option within the same shocks. Take that into consideration if reading reviews from 2020 or so about way to stiff shocks. These shocks make off roading much more enjoyable and daily driving much easier. They will also give more extended and compressed shock travel over oem shocks.

Solid Front Adjustable Track Bar

Noticeably thicker and stronger than the stock piece. About 10 lbs heavier as well. Install was easy and as is adjusting. Make sure to go back and forth on the two bolts on the clamp when tightening down as when you tighten one, the other loosens ( by design when tightening ). When i got up to 60 ft/lbs of torque I had to go back and forth 3 or 4 times between the bolts before both stayed at the limit. There appears to have been some production issues with the original design a few years back that Teraflex has corrected and improved. No creaking, clunking, or squeaking from mine after about 2,000 miles.

Big Upgrade

This is a solid piece of equipment. Noticeably thicker, forged, and about 10lbs heavier than the stock rear track bar. Bolted up directly as expected. Adjustable and easy. As noted, when tightening make sure to go back and forth between the bolts until both reach the torque limit. Once i was at 60 ft/lb of torque i had to go back and forth between the two bolts 3 or 4 times before both were tight. Does what it is supposed to and no clunking.

Not much to say. It's a 1/2" spacer. Composite. The design works well and gives advertised lift. Used to regain the roughly 1/2" fender gap I lost from bumper/winch install up front and heavier tire and tire carrier in the rear. No issues after install and no problems being used off road.

Simple and Effective

This is one of those things you can easily forget about if you just step up to 35s. Fortunately never had an issue that required the jack before ordering this. Gave it a trial run in the driveway and can tell it's definitely needed to safely lift a JL Rubicon on 35s with the stock scissor jack. Add in some uneven terrain if something were to happen off road and this simple base makes you feel a lot more comfortable. A lot of AEV stuff is wildly priced, but this seems quite reasonable. Definitely not a cheaply made piece and the design let's it fit perfectly in the rear storage area of the JLU ( although i think 392 doesn't fit, not sure about eco diesel ).

Replace Your Cabin Filter!
RubySoho 4 days ago
Like everyone else...I always forget to replace my cabin air filter. Jeep is 3 years old and never replaced. It was dirty and noticeably decreasing the heater performance. Super easy to replace in Jeep JL Wrangler. Less than 5 minutes. No tools needed.
