I’ve been experiencing death wobble on my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ). The build is stock, without a lift or oversized tires. I took it into the shop for an evaluation to see what they thought was causing the issue. They looked at the front end and replaced the steering gear because it was the only obviously “significantly worn” part. Immediately after picking it up, I had the same death wobble issue, so after some more internet research, I decided to start tracking down that death wobble on my own. After reading reviews, I decided that the OME Steering Stabilizer was the way to go, so I ordered it on Monday, it arrived on Thursday. It took less than an hour to install and has eliminated my death wobble for now, letting me drive my Jeep while I replace the other front end parts. If you’re installing it yourself, make sure you’ve got a tie rod/pitman arm remover to take the old one out.
