Perfect little light!

Well made and I just tapped into the running lamp circuit at the Brown wire on the RR tail lamp for the license plate lamp green wire. Spiced into the factory brake lamp connector for ground and brake lamp signal to the black and red wires. I mounted it to the Motobilt license plate bracket. Enjoy!

It fit and melted to the axle and castings with no issues. Watch out for that Rubicon JLU dana 44 breather tube though. They shatter like glass if you attempt to just slightly bend it. Hold my beer and give me that NPT tap. Sorry for the crappy photo.

Crybaby again reviewing the set of springs. The springs are designed to for a gas model with the gas tank on the passenger side. The diesel 2021 JLU is on the driver side. The unloaded spring height is different left to right. I installed these per the instructions and then did not like the curb height after the spring settled with my fat rump sitting inside. So, because it was a diesel and I'm 250 I defied the instructions and put the taller spring on the driver side. Perfect curb height was achieved after the second go around. I never called or emailed Clayton because I didn't have to doit 3 times. I've never used Clayton, but had no problems with this Premium Lift Kit. Overbuilt for sure! Time for taller tires.

Dang it motobilt! Fine take my money. This wouldn't be a crybaby review with out some gripes, sooo... I have a 2021 JLU. it's an early model JLU with the early style camera. I didn't read the instructions and went to the last page #7 in the instructions like I was building IKEA furniture. The CAD print image was drawn incorrectly only on page #7. Hold on now... So, when you look at the Drafted part on page #7 it is built upside down. I built it upside down and guess what the camera point towards the sky. Then I might have had a couple cold pops. and attempted to mount the old camera in the new camera style. Hand me that grinder... I emailed Bobby at Motobilt and the guy was solid. He dried those crybaby eyes. Hopefully you never took drafting in 9th grade looking at page #7 saying, "oh now they are just F&C$ing with me. The part is nice and built well in America!

Motobilt Spare Tire Tag Relocation Kit w/ Camera Mount

A stock 2021 JLU jeep rim with a 35" MT will not bolt up due to the backspace. I installed this carrier after powder coat then couldn't mount the spare that came off the factory mount. I got the cheeepest 17" -12 rim I could find from China then dismounted and mounted the tire to this new spare. After the weight of the new wheel assembly was placed on the door it needed all the shims. If you are buying this mount because you actually need it start off with all 4 shims. If I had to do it again with what I know now 1 hour install tops with glass cleaner polished plastic. That was my gripe sorry for venting. This carrier is super smooth, doesn't sag at all. with perfect body lines after some love. Very well built.

I'll just say that allen head bolts are trash, unless you need a button head. 1/4 of a turn at a time on your back with a wrench and allen wrech seems like forever to install. The icing on the cake is when it's finally installed the door hits it. Hold my beer and give me that grinder. I upgraded and it's coming to a swap meet near you for 2 bucks. The license plate was stress cracked at the bolt holes from these NV washboard roads and after a 3000 miles adventure trip.

Two people needed while a third one insults your upside down welding skills as spatter splashes all the way down your ear canal. Sounds like hot bacon. I should have painted these instead of powder coat. Been banging off everything with my little 35's. I've been slapping stickers on the scratches. Wish I could use a little rattle can restoration for post pressure washing. #heavyduty

My first thought seeing this poor box that got kicked around for four states on my door step. The holes and carnage during delivery was violent. As I first picked up the box I was like holy crap this is heavy as I drag this huge box off my door step. Not a scratch! These guys were throwing this down at every stop for sure. This part was flawless. I had to sand off some welding splatter and dress the flame/plasma cut parts. Super sharp edges! make sure to take time to, "blend" these edges during prep before coating. Bolted right up no issues with excellent fitment. Not made from old junkers they used 57 chevys for this steel. Bust out another thousand now! Get the skid plate too your wife doesn't care.

Easy install on my Motobilt front bumper. Just a little dab of blue screw glue and creative wire routing to my fuse box area already pre wired to an AUX switch for my JLU. Brighter than my factory halogen low beams. I see everyone while crawling the mall at night. Great addition!

Out of the package and on the JLU in 20 minutes by myself. I did wish I had some help holding it while I attempted to not strip out the tailgate threaded holes with my crappy hobofreight allen wrench. The orings on the standoff spacers are a must! Thought it would be a rattling nightmare, but I was impressed on these Nevada washboard roads. I have fillet fish and used it for holding tools and cold pops. Fits my gas stove perfect.

Great packaging out of the box. Welding looking good. Sharp edges on cut ends. Plan on playing metal shop and getting this part clean enough to paint/powder. Bumper bolted on and fitment was great. 35" toyo on a stock rim that came off the factory set up will not fit because this bumper has less spare tire clearance than the factory plastic bumper. Under features and product details it says, "Room for 40" tires." This is not the case for me. This bumper has no place for a license plate so plan on getting creative. Get ready to buy more parts to address these issues. This is where the rabbit hole starts. MTBMB1089, MTBMB2115, OROLD-PL6.
