    Looks good and is functional

These nerf bars look very good on my gladiator and seem to be well built. At first I was concerned as there is only three mount points instead of the four on the oem rock bars. I also was not sure which end should go towards the front of the truck. After measuring, I found there was only one way they would fit. The end that goes towards the front is the end where there are two mount points 26 inches apart. After figuring this out, the installation was straight forward. You will want to leave the bolts connecting the bars to the mounts loose until the end of installation. I found the best way to install them is to connectcthe front mount to the body first with the single bolt, then the backend bracket followed by the middle. Leave these bolts loose. Then attache each mount to the body followed by tightening the single bolt to the body. Finally, tighten the bars to the mounts. This is actually the most cumbersome point as the top bolt needs to be tightened with an open ended wrench as the is not room for anything else. I really like the bars, but do have some concerns on their longevity as the ends are both open. While this will allow airflow that should allow the insides to stay dry, I am concerned they will collect sand and mud inside. I will monitor and insure that stay clean if this does happen
